Visit to the New England Aquarium with Special Guest Les Kaufman
For our GLACIER-funded field trip, Sue and I decided to take the sixty 7th grade students to the New England Aquarium. Students were able to view a variety of marine ecosystems and investigate their major characteristics, inhabitats and threats to their sustainability. We were also fortunate enough to have a guest lecture from BU Professor and world-renowned marine expert Dr. Les Kaufman, who spoke to the students about the threats global warming poses to marine systems.
