School Name : Atlantic Middle School, Quincy
Teaching Partner: Michael Maguire
Trevor's Project GLACIER Site

Trevor, a third year graduate student in mechanical engineering, is currently researching novel techniques in high-speed optical microscopy. In particular, he is applying techniques from machine learning and control theory to the tracking of fluorescent molecules in biophysical systems using confocal microscopes.

He is paired with Michael Maguire at Atlantic Middle School in Quincy, MA. The two will be working together to develop effective science and engineering curricula with regard to astronomy, weather, climate change, and alternative energies. The two hope to incorporate the latest technologies, such as those from KidWind and MIT's Scratch, into their curricula while maintaining a "hands-on", socially-aware classroom environment.
