Anjeza's Project GLACIER Site

Anjeza Beharaj is a 2nd year PhD student studying organic chemistry and working in the laboratory of Professor Mark Grinstaff. She is currently investigating the mechanical and chemical properties of poly glycerol carbonates. These polymers hold great interest in medicine and drug delivery due to their non toxic degration products of glycerol and carbon dioxide.

Anjeza is partnered with Brittany Colford at St. Columbkille middle school in Brighton. Being the only science teacher in the school, Brittany teaches the sixth, seventh, and eigth grade classes. Together, they will bring world of chemistry to these classrooms and show the students how climate change is effecting the planet one molecule at a time.
